Richard has considerable experience in corporate and investment work, advising domestic and foreign clients on acquisitions and joint ventures in the form of a local company or a foreign investment company (PMA’s). He has been involved in a wide variety of corporate transactions including share and asset transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and financings.
Besides his corporate practice, Richard is also well familiar with capital market law and practice and financial industry and related matters such as (debt) financing for both companies and consumers. He is member of the Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (HKHPM).
Richard graduated from Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya with an LL.M degree from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. He has adequately merged his skill of in-depth research with target-driven effectiveness in successful legal representations. During the accumulation of his experience in consulting as a legal counsel, Richard sensed a growing need for expert knowledge in the practice of corporate law. This observation has led to the foundation of LasutLay & Pane. Aside from his fervor in optimizing the knowledgeable expertise in the firm, Richard is passionate about the development of studies about Comparative Law in Indonesia.
Alex built his outstanding professionalism throughout a very interesting career path. After a stint as an engineer stationed in Dubai, he pursued his true calling in law. While attaining his LL.M degree in Australia, Alexander grew an interest for litigation and participated in cases of prominent human right institutes and governmental organizations. Alexander earned his recognition in the field of litigation when he represented two commissioners of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the alleged bribery case against them. His track record also included a senior position at Lubis Santosa Mulyana before teaming up with Richard in LasutLay & Pane.
Marjan earned her reputable marks in capital market, banking and finance during her long-standing tenure as a partner at Tumbuan Pane from 1989 to 2011. She counseled a significant amount of listed companies in capital market transactions, both equity and debt securities issuance as well as other corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, corporate governance and corporate restructurings.
Besides her capital market practice, Marjan is also known for her extensive knowledge in insolvency law and related matters such as (debt)restructuring and reorganizations. She is a licensed receiver and administrator. She is a frequent speaker and teaches at various capital market courses including mandatory courses to obtain capital market practice license and insolvency courses.
